
The Internal Medicine Department will provide a complete physical examination and may perform a variety of diagnostic tests to aid in the diagnosis of your pet’s condition. Our board-certified internal medicine specialists have an extensive background in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of internal conditions in pets. They specialize in diseases of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, endocrine system, liver and respiratory system, kidneys, and urinary tract.

At Valley Central, we also offer chemotherapy for those patients diagnosed with cancer. We will work with you and your family veterinarian to determine what course of treatment is best for your pet. Our internists stay current of all the safety protocols and information related to chemotherapy. Although a cancer diagnosis can be frightening, there are many levels of treatments that can be done to maintain a pet’s quality of life.
